E1451
Acetylated oxidised starch
What this grade is
Oxidised first, then acetylated. Oxidation lowers viscosity and builds film; the acetylation on top raises clarity and storage stability above plain E1404. It suits cases where a film is needed but the product must also stay clear and smooth for weeks.
What it solves
A coating clouding after a few weeks of storage
The need for a clear film over a dark product
Coating cracking after freezing
Common applications
Coatings for frozen products
Clear confectionery glazes
Frying batters with longer shelf life
Technical data
The technical data sheet for this grade is published after production and batch testing. Until then we publish no figures here; a number with no test behind it comes back at the customer’s first audit. If you already have the range you need, send it to us.
